The house is over on the right nestled in among those trees. Great marsh view, but hard for anyone to see *us*.
Marsh on the other side of the causeway where a number of egrets and wood storks roost, along with some migratories. The birds *are there* in the trees.
More pictures of Charlie and the Beaufort environs later. There was reading and knitting and eating of shrimp and riding Charlie about in the golf cart, which he regards as his chariot. My sib managed to leave crumbs and crud and a flat tire on the golf cart for me to deal with. Gee thanks. This is the one who picked an argument some time back because I dropped a couple of strawberry hulls on the floor while making a quart-sized strawberry shortcake. Uh huh.
